IS 3812 Grade II ash for block, brick and general non-structural work where Grade I is over-specified.
Grade II meets IS 3812 Part 1 at the wider limits and is a straightforward, economical choice for block and brick plants, mass fill concrete and non-structural applications. Where the specification does not demand Grade I, buying it is simply paying for fineness you will not use.
