Export Services

Packing, Incoterms, documentation and loading ports - the practical detail buyers ask for.

One contract, from the precipitator to your silo

Buying fly ash across a border involves an allocation, a classification plant, a packing yard, a trucking fleet, a customs broker, a surveyor, a shipping line and a bank. We hold all of those relationships so that you only have to hold one - with us.

The blocks below set out exactly how a shipment is packed, on what commercial terms it is sold, which documents travel with it and where it can be loaded. If something you need is not here, ask - the answer is usually yes.

Questions

What buyers ask us first

What is the HS code for fly ash?

Fly ash is normally classified under HS code 2621.90 (other slag and ash). We confirm the exact heading for your destination on the proforma invoice.

What is the minimum order quantity?

One 20 ft container (about 20 MT bagged, 26–28 MT in bulk liners). For bulk vessel shipments we start at 5,000 MT.

Will I get a sample before I commit?

Yes. We courier a sealed 2 kg sample with a full NABL laboratory report, free of cost, anywhere we can ship.

How is the quality guaranteed on arrival?

Each lot is tested before loading and again by an independent surveyor at the port. The certificate of analysis travels with the shipping documents, and we accept destination re-testing clauses in the contract.

What payment terms do you accept?

Irrevocable letter of credit at sight, documents against payment, or telegraphic transfer against proforma. Terms are agreed before the laycan is fixed.

Is fly ash treated as hazardous cargo?

No. Fly ash is a non-hazardous, non-DG cargo. We supply an MSDS and a non-hazardous declaration with every shipment.

How long does shipment take?

Containerised orders are usually loaded within 10–14 days of the contract; bulk vessels are fixed against an agreed laycan. Transit depends on the route — 6–10 days to the Gulf, 12–18 days to South-East Asia.

Ready to price your shipment?

Send the grade, tonnage, packing and discharge port. Firm offer and sealed sample within one working day.
